I've never once read anything from SS IMPSTR that was either informative or helpful. All I have seen is negativity and doubt. I truly think the wrong person got banned a while back.

PortMasters,
I personally welcome your posts and services. Regardless of whether or not you are the best out there or have provided any "proof" of your claims (yet ) I enjoy the fact that there is another company out there offering services for our niche market. With the ever growing popularity of the LSx motors more and more companies are leaving the LT1 behind altogether. It's a rare occurance (sp?) that anyone shows any interest in our beloved engines. Don't let the few bad apples ruin it for everyone else out there. Just do what the rest of us do and completely ignore those posts.

Good grief. I apologize if my posts offend those who believe in accepting someone's credentials for face value on an internet message board.

Questioning someones credentials isnt the issue. The fact that you're a d*ck about it is what people have a problem with.

So you're suggesting I should ask in a kinder, gentler way? How about this - why not heed the advice quoted in your sig and get another hobby? Was that kind enough for you?

I already admitted that the original response to PM's post was harsh. And you're dead wrong - the issue IS questioning someone's credentials and claims. I just asked for some back-up, and PM said they would provide it. No problem.

I would love to see some vedios and dynos and hear from some customers this year.

We will post up a bunch of info for you guys soon. I received a PM from SS MPSTR and he was very nice and apologized. We are new to the forum, so we are trying to please everyone with as much info as we can get on here it will just take us a little time to get what everyone wants For the mean time, we are starting to work on our website in the customer cars section. Thanks everyone for bearing with us, and we will have info on here for everyone real soon.

I for one thank you Port Masters for keeping the LT1 alive. I don't post much (more of a serial-reader than a serial-poster) but have been a F-body fan...well...forever.

I say anybody willing to keep the LT1 alive is welcomed here, just my $0.02.

My ultimate hope is for someone to realize we need an LTx block like they did with the LSx.

I live in the Orlando area, you could set my car up with some of your stuff and I will tell everyone about how well it works - but seriously, welcome to the board, I will probably be stopping by your shop in the near future.

Noted.

I've got nothing to hide...my original comment in this thread was harsh and regretable.
