hey guys - I need help on this, i just got done w/ an opti install and now whenever i'm in (for example) 6th gear at like 70mph, the transmission jumps around and feels like its about to come off of its mount! I'm really fed up with the way the car is running - I need help with this!!!

Everything else is fine tho?? no idle problems, no other problems whatso ever, just crusing??

two ideas
remember back to when you put the opti on. did it slide on and stop a 100% flush with out force?

On one of my opti install is stopped with about a penny to a penny and a half area between the timing cover and opti. it was in the right whole and all, but it just didn't sink all the way down. i put the bolts in a tighened it down. barely ran

toook it back off an reput it on...worked perfectly. just a thought wiggle it around untill its flush

the sencond idea was it it was miss diagnosed or a multiple problem to begin with. replay your 02 sensors and plugs and wires. you can get brand new bocsh 02 sensors for $29 on ebay btw...beats autozone at $100

 

I'm positive the opti is on there correctly .... there's no spacing whatsoever ... it may just be plugs/wires. If there was spacing there, wouldn't oil leak out of the opti seal? I also dont know what else could cause such rough acceleration and my trans to bounce around so much.....

any ideas would be good!
