I just installed the LT4 balancer but didn't realize the arrows from the balancer should match with the hub. Is it a big concern if say I only left the engine idle for a few minutes and not get high in the rpms?

The hub is nuetral balance so it should not matter at all. I'll check to see how mine looks when I get off of work.

Since the damper is neutrally balanced and can only go on one way, I don't see a problem.

Oh OK, I was told it is suppose to go a certain way (arrows pointed to each other). If it doesn't matter than I'll rev away

The prongs on the hub are not equi-distance apart. Did you force any of the bolts. Try lining up the marks like you state and see if the bolt holes line up. If not leave it like it is.
Not sure if it can even be forced on in the incorrect position.
