are they the allen headed bolts, or just regular bolts? On mine, i have to use a 3/8" open ended wrench to tighten it up
You will get very used to being pissed off and working in tight places
If you are old enough, grab a beer, drink it, relax, watch TV for a bit, then go back and tackle it.
It is near impossible to successfully work on a car when you are pissed off/frustrated with it

my front end felt loose when i bought the car, upon further inspection i found that i needed new outer tie rods, upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushings, sway bar end links, and new shocks. cost around $1000 to get all the new parts and have them pressed in, installed them myself to save a little cash. (went with MOOG replacement parts on everything except got bilstein shocks). take a look at all those parts, that might be where your problem lies. made a huge difference in handling and ride quality for mine.
and i agree, dont work on a car frustrated, you will almost ALWAYS end up smashing a knuckle and then you will be even more pissed off.

I tried a combination wrench, it was too long. Possibly a shorter one will work.
I want to flush my cooling system but I'm curious if it's the same since I have an Electric water pump.
Thanks,
Dan
