Just got dyno'd

I was a little dissapointed on my numbers but there is room for improvement.

383
GM847
Ported LT1 Aluminum Heads
1.6rr
6 speed
PCMforless tune



381.1 @ 4100 TQ
333.4 @ 5100 HP

good numbers? uh... an 847 alone revving high enough should make 330whp... add a 383 plus ported heads and that number should jump by at least 50

well start listing parts....post a graph, thats terrible. I made that with Lt's and a hot cam with no tune......

I have a Dynojet wideband installed on the car but did not log it during the run. But it runs around 12.1-.2 @ wideopen

shouldn't that be a 420RWHP car? I'm afraid to dyno mine in the spring cuz i'm thinking my set should be 420 or so, am I dreaming?

Ya good numbers... we have no idea what else he has and can only assume that is all that is in the motor. 380 on a base dyno is a good number to work from if you are in the early stages of a build.

9" will take some.....no big deal.

Why are you running that piston? its killing you...if this is a N/A or nitrous engine go with a flat top -5cc or something

if your rods and crank are forged that would be a nice FI setup, that would change that dyno a bit

who did the porting? don't LE1 packages on a stock block with supporting mods put up 380?
