Yeah, I would say it too. Get different gears. Then go from thier. Let me know if you need them installed.

Skip the gears save the dough for a 12 bolt.

ok, let me ask a dumb quetion? what RR are you using? I see that you are using the LT4 springs, good for .530 lift. If you are using the stock ratio (1.5), you fine with the .510 lift. If you are using 1.6rr, that would put you at .544 lift. coil bind, not good.

Re: Just got back from the track, VERRY dissapointed!

I know, the gears are terrible. Ive raced 12 second cars before from a roll and won so when i saw the timeslip 13.9 knowing i couldint hit second or 3rd any better i about cryed. So rev it to 3k RPM dump the clutch and slam the gas? Ive never really tryed much to launch, the fact that its the stock clutch scares me. As for the rockers they are stock so no coil bind here. rathmotorsports - Send me a PM and let me know a price/location. I plan on getting a 12 bolt over winter but i want a decent 12 second pass this summer.

373's will help you bigtime, get rid of those 273's asap..how was the weather? 104 isnt a bad trap but you should be around around 105-107 w/ the 305

Definitely get drag radials. BIGGEST improvement in track consistency for me. I got the Nitto 555R's in 245/50/16, I drive them around at 27psi on the street, and drop them all the way down to 14psi at the track. AWESOME feeling when you launch after doing a big burnout.

You shouldn't put any more money into your car right now. You need to go to the track a few more times and learn how to race your car. With the 60ft you have now with those crappy gears, you'll just spin worce with 4.11's! Get some time behind the wheel and then get some rubber and gears. Your car can go a lot faster once you learn to drive it.
