just dynoed my minor bolt-on '93/#'s inside!

just got back from the dyno a half hour ago, and i was pretty impressed. the shop that did it usually dynoes mustangs and LS1's. i asked him how much he thought i would dyno and he said around 220-230. i was like alright maybe he's right. first run i went with cutout closed through an LS1 muffler and 2.5in pipes, then after a 15-20min cooldown i went with the cutout open.

first run: 269.1@5300rpm/253.57@5100rpm

second : 284.45@4100rpm/269.44@4600rpm

it was f#cking hot inside the building, easily 100*+. i am pretty happy, because this guy who has a full bolt-on/cam '98 mustang only went 296hp. he asked me what i had in my car, i told him i just had a filter and cutout he saw my dyno sheet and he was like i told him i was going back in a few weeks after i get my LT's and a chip, which should put me close or at 300hp. what do you guys think??? i'll post up the dyno sheet in a while.

Which numbers are the Torque and which are the Horsepower? The numbers look weird to me.

Yea, there's definetely something wrong with those numbers. (dyno) The TQ RPM is high on the first run and then on the second run, the HP RPM is low.

Something is definitely wrong. Which one is your torque? Even so, the RPMs don't make sense.

He'd be trapping well higher than 97mph with that kind of HP. I agree the torque numbers are low, and the rpms seem high. The 2nd run's hp and RPM are flat out impossible with a near stock engine. Something's either up with the dyno or the interpretation of the numbers (torque converter effects maybe).

You have your numbers mixed up.

253HP/269HP run #1.
269HP/284HP run #2.

What was the difference between the two runs? You gained 16HP and 15tq. on the second pass.

EDIT: Nevermind...I see you opened your cutout.
