11.8:1 is too rich...pretty much a full point off. I would shoot for 12.8-12.9 @ WOT.

What could be the problem? I think my whole set up infront of the TB is jacked up. Im probably going to order a new airbox / CAI and do the Z06 maf conversion (as its cheaper than a stocker (from what Ive seen) and about half the price of the granatelli piece.)

There are pretty much 2 reasons why an A/F could be off. You could have altered the engine enough that the OEM calibration no longer is accurate, or, there are problems. If you have air leaks after the MAF, that is unmetered air(not good). If you have exhaust leaks before the O2 sensors, your car will think it's lean and dump in fuel (also not good). Factory OEM tunes are always on the rich side anyway, so if your car is in good mechanical order with the items I mentioned, I wouldn't stress. But some time on a laptop at a dyno probably has 20 horse or so with your name on it!

Thanks for t he info. I really need to check into my maf/airbox. I doubt I have a leak before the o2's as all exhuast is stock aside from the cut out, but anything is possible...

i have this excel program made by another board member that will calculate whatever AFR you want by plugging in the figures you have off the wideband. you take the new numbers and copy them to your PE tables in tunercat or LT1 edit. ive never used it but i imagine it works great. i could email it to you if you are interested.
Appreciate the offer, but I have neither the programs. Ill leave that up to the tuner. Was talking with a kid this weekend that blew his motor in a 99 Cobra playing with his timing adjuster.
