just curious......

What size of weld wheels would one have to get since the draglites(i believe) only come in 15s. This is also without doing any modifications even though some of the guys with the 15x3 in front and whatever they have in the back look sweet. There is a picture to the top left every so often of a white camaro with a cowl induction hood and what lloks to be weld wheels. I really like the look of that. Would one buy 15x8 all around or?????

What do you plan to use the wheels for? Strictly street driving? Ocassional track use? High HP drag tires only?

If you want them for the track, the popular approach is 15x3.5 in the front and 15x8 (5.5" BS) or 15x10 (7.5" BS) in the back. The Weld Draglite and Pro-Star fronts require 5/16" spacers, and that means longer studs to be NHRA legal. In the back, you need to grind the fins off the brake calipers. Plus longer studs.

For "street" driving, you could opt for the 15" Draglites, or you could look at the Draglite XP or Pro-Star XP, which are available in 16, 17 and 18" diameters.

Click on this pic , or the "Trailer queen...." link below for my approach.......

Damn,,,you got an awsome car! Yea my car is nothing like that. I have a z28 and I have been seeing these weld draglites on 4th gen cars. I really like that and I would like to have those, as opposed to the ss wheels or zr1. It would be mainly for street driving. What would the specifics be if I went with weld draglites and I would probably need taller tires to compensate for the 1 inch in rim reduction????yes/no.........Once again , awsome car!
