Just swapped out the old stock rubber motor mounts for some Energy Suspension poly mounts the other week in my '96 Z28 daily driver. All I can say is that these mounts are awesome! The first couple of days you will notice a little more in vibration from the motor, but after that it feels 95% like stock rubber mounts. The 5% difference is just a slight extra vibration from the engine at idle and at steady highway rpms. I highly recommend poly motor mounts over the stock rubber units if anyone is planning on swapping or just wanting to upgrade whether it is a daily driver or not. Install was fairly straight foward and I highly recommend a buddy coming over for a half hour (give him beer for his efforts ) to get the bolts lined up through the holes. I had the headers out of my car when I did this which made things a lot easier. LOL thats what i was wondering. I didn't think adding poly motor mounts was worthy of a WOW!

 

i just did the poly motor mounts about 2 weeks ago. and it raised my motor 7/16 of and inch i measured before and after. theres no more vibration that before

 

95% stock in the vibration factor. I know a lot of guys are concerned with extra vibrations and rattling when they are considering doing poly mounts. Where the poly mounts get the WOW from is that your motor BARELY moves. My stock rubber ones were wore out pretty good so by installing the poly mounts got rid of my exhaust rattle, shifter shake while accelerating from idle, and overall gives the car a more solid feel when shifting fast. Just thought I would share my experience with everyone.
