Like the topic says, the car has 58k on it, what should i do to it, it is bone stock. I really dont plain to go crazy with this car being i went nuts on my 90 formula. Just the basic bolt ons, however is there any general tune up junk i should do?

 

For the most part, just change out all your fluids. Anything else that needs to be changed will become evident as time goes by.

 

Plugs and wires are always fun for a virgin LT1 guy.

 

Your car should be in pretty good shape for a 96 w/58K on it. That's good milage for that car. I would say just keep your oil changed with a good synthetic if you don't have the (well known) intake back leak. If you have any leaks at all, don't go to synthetic because you will loose even more oil. Sounds like your in good shape.

 

When i got my car with 71k, i changed plugs,wires, fuel filter,put a new waterpump on to since mine was startin to go bad, so i saved my opti i think

what else....Oil change obviously, and i changed my rearend fluid.Tranny fluid wouldn't hurt either.

 

LMAO my cherry was popped a long time ago on lt1s for example an slp header install on my friend 95 in the snow.... or wait wait changing the plugs in my 89 formula cuz i have to do the entire passenger side underneath the freakin car, lol... No no leaks @ all, oil is getting changed to red line 5w30, rear changed to 80/90w syn blend and tranny well.... i dont think im gonna touch that m6 just yet... what plugs and wires u recommend acdelcos all around?
