Just bought a 93 Z28 that has been sitting, have questions

Hello all, I am a proud new owner of a 1993 Camaro Z28 with 26K original miles on it. The car has been sitting for most of its life, but was drivable and ready to preform when I test drove it. Being that it has been sitting for so long, however, I was planning on taking it in and having it checked out to make sure nothing needs serviced. Is there anything in particular that I should have checked, or will a general inspection do me just fine? Thanks for the replies.

I would say replace all of the fluids. Then, if the mechanic will allow it, walk under the car and try to visually inspect everything. He will be looking too and hopefully together, you guys can find everything/anything that is wrong. Other than that, just put some miles on the car and make sure nothing feels/sounds funny. Was it garaged the whole time? That would make a big difference. Congratulations on the purchase.

I look over all the rubber suspension components. Even though it's low mileage, air and oil will attack rubber.

Yeah, it was garaged. The car runs fine, but my dad was tellin me to go get it checked out, because things such as intake gaskets and such could be bad since it has been sitting for most of its life. I think I am going to go ahead and run a compression check on it just to be safe. My friend and I put it up on jackstands and got underneath it before I bought it. Not a drop of anything leaking anywhere

Change all fluids, plugs, and filters.

I would also pull out all the plugs, disconnect the fuel pump fuse, and crank the car over a few times just to lube everything up well before you start it for the first time.
