Jet Hot LT install done

Well I might have set a record for LONGEST install time
I got the old headers out, new in, and all the work besides the bolting the LT headers up, and finishing the car (Altenator, Starter, O2s, etc...) done in 6 hours. Then the #2 primary bolts wouldn't go in, we decided that we needed to have the threads tapped....
After dropping it off, and the Mechanic Taking 6 1/2 weeks to TOUCH the car, it is finally done.

I took it to the muffler shop and they had to bend the Driver side header down since it was rubbing the floor board and they coulnd't bolt a collector to it

Then they had to cut the Transmission cross member, and it rubs just slightly when taking off, but after you get going it is all good.

All in all

The car pulls so much harder than with the Midlengths, some of that might be do to the Pace Setters having leaks, but LTs really woke up the car

New motor mounts = no more rubby rub.

I went with the stage 8's. It was nice to have 2 options to tighten the bolts down. And they will never back out. It took me 20 hours or so to do the install. I had to grind down the k member. It took me like 4 hours just to get the drivers side in.

Try a poly motor mount, seems yours are sagging A LOT. Mine are sagging a bit too but not enough for the header to touch the k-member. It took me 1 week to delete EGR and AIR, install my Jet Hots and do plugs and wires with minimal help in 85-90* July heat last summer in my dad's driveway. This was also with an emergency order from Thunder for more opti ends because it took me a set to figure out how to crimp them and its so easy too. Live and learn. Those headers are awesome by the way.
