Jet hot does a good job of tucking them in but i still wouldnt do it either. Mine is the stock height and I see that it'll scrap on some larger speed bumps. They also position the 3 bolt flange in a way that the 1 bolt hole is up top and the other to are on the left and right. Ive seen some where 1 bolt hole is facing down which would catch speed bumps easier.

Don't see how you could live with a lowered car with LTs. Of course I could probably gain a ton of GC back by replacing motor mounts, shocks and springs. All stock 87k miles hehe
I have a several inches clearance. I have pics of it, check links below, dont see wtf you are calling BS on something that is easily done. Only scraped on really big speed bumps and steep inclines. The factory air dam at the front of car scrapes more than anything else. Actually Im pretty sure my collectors have no scrapes on them at all, and the x pipe and mufflers were the only parts that scraped when it did.

I still dont think thats enough clearance... 3 inches off the ground aint much...

I'd feel sorry for the first poor bastard of a possum to think he can dodge your tires by going inbetween them
