A4 Question

If I pull my 4l60e and swap it with another same year 4l60e will i have to do anything with the computer as far as flashing it or anything. Any help is appreciated

That is what I am asking tranny shop said they had to flash the computer but i couldn't figure out why cause no SES codes were comeing up. I think they were trying to discourge me from pulling my tranny and taking it to them. Any more ideas.

so what about pulling and swaping with another year 4l60e. from what i gather as long as you don't mess witht he shift points everything is kosher with the computer
