I purchased some brand new jethot longtubes for my 94 LT1. What aftermarket gasket are you all running and if have a part number that would help alot. The ones the company included are a bunch of junk.


Btw what spark plugs are you guys, I heard some good things about the tr 55s. ????? I am running high compression and may spray down the road

Felpro 1406 for D port or Felpro 1426 for round ports.

Part no. FFP-1406 or FFP-1426.JMHO

 

TR55s at .50 is the common plug. Comes in copper, plat.irradium.
If your going to spray you might want a different one. Ask on the Forced Air sight. JMHO

Another vote for the 1406 Felpros. I am also using the TR55 Iridium plugs. Great plugs and I never have a foul/miss.

 

What years have round ports or D ports?

I had problems, with my jethot LT's.. Double check the primaries on those headers and check the ports on the heads. My tubes were square ports and did not seal on the bottom mating surface of the head, so I had to manufacture an adapter that fit in between the header and head. The adapter was a cross between the ouside shape of the fp 1406 and the inside shape of the stock gasket made of 1/4 in steel to make up for the size difference. No Leaks now..
