jet hot headers
jet hot headers
ok, i was lookin at the jet hots for my 97 formula, and i look the looks of them, and i hear the coating is awesome, won't rust.
now my question is....
this obviously can be bolted onto my car, but if i got the GMMG cat back system, would it fit??? and would i need a new y pipe, or make any rear O2 sensor and custom tune it changes???

Yes, Jet Hot Longtubes are extremely nice... it's what I have.
Yes, the GMMG cat-back system will indeed fit. Any catback system for the LT1 will. The issure you have to decide on is how you want to link the headers and the I-pipe on the cat-back.
Usually, a y-pipe is made, which can either be custom (best), or there are pre-made solutions for you to buy, however, they don't have a great fitment record.
As far as O2s go, since you have a 97, you will need to get FLAT connector O2 extensions for the front, in a 24" size. You will then need to either purchase O2 simulators for the rear O2s, or get your PCM tuned, and just delete them (what I did).

You'll need a 24" extension and a 12" extension. I used 2 24"s since that's what I had. The extra length doesnt hurt anything.
The rear O2s have got to go, pick up some O2 simulators. The front O2s will screw into your header collectors.
