JB Weld on exhaust manifold ?

Anyone ever try JB Weld or something simialar on a cracked manifold ?

JB weld cant withstand that kind of heat. There is some stuff called Fire Seal 2000 that is specifically made to repair cracked exhaust manifolds. Go to www.por15.com to check it out. I saw the stuff advertised in the last issue of Carcraft.

I've tried, it wont hold it for more than about 2 minutes at best.

you will just have to braze it probably or put on headers

I'm going to change the manifold. I couldnt see it from the top because of the heat shield. I got under it today and its cracked all the way across the bottom
