is jacking the car up bad when you have a DS safety loop?? plase read
I just installed a DS safety loop on Saturday so I can run at the local track, but while I was under there I noticed that if the car were to be jacked up by the frame in order to change tires (like putting slicks on), the torque arm would come to rest on the DS loop. Is this bad?
and also, just on sunday I developed a loud clunk from either the rear or the middle of the car....could it be the tranny mount or the tourque arm mount or something in the gears?. Sunday I also had the car jacked up to put slicks on....

If your really worried about jacking it up by the frame because the tq arm hits, I was thinking of converting an old jack of mine and welding on a curved piece of metal for the sole purpose of jacking up the rear of my car by the axles. Thou this might be a bad idea?
Just put some Bmr sub frame conectors on and you won't have any more issues with the body tweaking like that. Actualy these sub frame conectors are so strong you can place the jack under them and jack up the car using them.
