So will 383 forged internals work with this block, except for the pistons of coarse? Thinking about just scratching my 383 and building one of these.

I wonder if its going to be a 4 bolt main? or are the SHP blocks strong enough to not need them?

Perfect timing! I will go ahead and wait for these, and put all my 427 guts into a prepped LT1 block instead of a bowtie.

I was trying to build a 427 tuned port with a first injections intake. However, I liked how my 383 tuned port LT1 turned out, but I couldnt figure out how to do this with an LT1 and not get outrageously expensive because of all the custom parts. This solves my problem.

If they do a GP...I may take 2. I will have to sell my bowtie block though. I wouldnt mind using one of these to make a hot street motor instead of my 388" I had planned with a stock block.

It would be nice if they would do a tall deck version. I would love to go to a 468ci motor.

The block is clearanced already for a 3.75" crank, and could take up to a 4" crank with clearancing I believe.

I cant log in to post to that link! But I would take a standard deck model for sure, and a tall deck if they offered it. I always like to see how far I can stretch it.
