Isnt 14.10 a little slow?
Get a Cold air Intake, and ditch that flowmaster. The flowmaster doesnt flow all that great, and the stock intake is a real restriction (I was able to definatly notice a SOTP gain from my CAI alone). You should hit 13's then. For an A4 with pretty much no mods that sounds about right. Do Plugs/Wires/Opti/Coil/Fuel Filter/Clean the MAF to start. Heck even do the TB bypass for a few extra HP!
Could you post the track elevation and conditions too? Its great your consistant right now, it means that you have a baseline for future fixes or mods
Perhaps something as simple as a tuneup will put you right into the 13's.

No it isnt a typo. Im not feeding u a line of crap. Its compucar system pretty much designed for streetracing. Its a 10 pound cyl that comes with a nice duffle bag that u can put in the back seat. It has like 1/8" hard plastic line that u can run right through ur door jam, or in my case its under the carpet and run through the firewall and T into the wire loom by the computer that runs up by the radiator. I drilled a hole in the bottom of my air box ran it in and held it in place by a zip tie in front of the maf sensor. The solinoid and place to put the jets is in the bag, and it has a wire running from the solinoid to plug in to the cig lighter, with a little slinky wire that looks like a cell phone charger with the powerful wittle green button on the end. But seriously it picked me up from a 14.10 to a 12.58. And im sprayin it about time my door passes the tree. So if i had some stickies it would go a good bit faster. But im am very very impressed with the kit and would highly recomend it to anyone. Just go on compucars site and its up there. I think the jobber price is like 400 or so.
I live about 60 miles from the coast of NC. Kinston Drag Strip and Coastal Plains Raceway is the 2 Tracks i run at. Its proly alittle under a hundred above sea level. Just a rough guess.

I've raced there before. I didn't like my ET's either. Can't really judge if it's just the track since I've only ran there once. Running gutted cats there should be a vast improvement. The times you are running are on par for a car with cats still in tact. Maybe because it's hot as ***** outside could be one issue.
Jacksonville? Are you a devil dog, son?

I had a '95 Camaro Z28 A4 that U just sold last saturday. The car has nothing but 3.73 rear end gears. Stock exhaust, Hankook Ventus tires, and a rebuilt stock transmission with less then 10k on it and my best time was 13.84 in the quarter and a 2.09 sixty foot. My trap speed was 100.13 with a .85 reaction. I was very impressed with the time. I think I should have been running just a lil quicker. What do ya'll think?
Slow, Do you ever make it out to Jersey Mikes on Saturdays? We usally head out to Coastal right afterwards. Chug was running about the same as you and then got a tune headers, Catback, Stall, and is running 13.3 @ 104~105 with 2.00 60 foot. I was running 14 flat @ 105 with my 6 speed car befor my Mods.

The reason for that huge gain is he has no converter to get his car to launch, and he is pushing against a 3.23. If he had a converter and sticky tires, the gains would not be nearly as dramatic. I went from 13.40's to 12.26 on a 50 shot out of the hole with no converter but with 3.89's.
If you ran those times recently, the hot and humid weather we've been having here in NC is undoubtedly to blame, even though those times aern't particularly bad for a stock car. Wait until this fall and run it in some dry 50-degree weather and see what happens.

So I would have been better off leaving my car stock and putting a 100 shot? What im looking at is the norm for a 100 shot is a sec. of e.t. so 10hp shot = a tenth of e.t., at the rate he's going a 10 hp shot = 2 1/2 tenths of e.t. So if i put a 100 shot on my car now with gears, converter, and stickies that would put me at about a 12.00 and his car matched up beside mine with now a 100 shot that he would beat me? that would put him to a mid 11. All im trying to say is that what you said goes up against what ive been tought about perfomance. putting a stock converter in to go faster?!
could you or someone explain this in greater detail?

. What I am saying is, if he had a converter like a 3200 Yank, his NA times would be much better. That is if he were able to plant the tires. A 97 mph trap speed is an easy 13.50. I used to run 13.00's at 100 in a heavy Caprice. The nitrous is sort of a substitute for a higher stall. It's putting 60 ft. lbs. of torque at the wheels just like a higher stall would at launch. ET has everything to do with the first 60 feet. Now, if he were to have the Yank and nitrous at launch, his times would undoubtedly improve but not as dramatically as nitrous with a stock stall. His 109 trap speed on the juice would probably turn into a 111 with a smaller, lighter, more efficient converter like the Yank, and yes, he's in the 11.90 - 12.00 range there. I went 11.70's @ 113 in my cam only 95 NA. I would add that the 60 shot he's using is probably netting more than that. An improvement of 12 mph and nearly two seconds of et would indicate that.
My first pass with the car stock was 14.8 It was a bone stock LT1 with K&N filter, gutted cat and flowmaster catback, with the stock 2.73s still in. I'd say your times sound right for the mods. Loosing 1.5 seconds is ridiculous for a 60 shot. With 1"3/4' longtube headers and hooker catback (flowmaster rotted out) the car went 13.9 and then 13 flat with 5lbs of boost and a tune (no traction on 18 inch wheels) I'd say check that jet size and keep saving up for that new motor!
