Intake Studs

Is anyone on here, or does anyone know where to purchase intake studs? I think it would be allot easier to use studs for the intake as far as lining it up properly and bolting it down goes.

you'll probably only be able to use studs on one side to use as a guide, due to the bolt angle with the intake face of the head on an lt1. if you use the proper length studs to do the job on both sides the distance between them wont be enough to get the intake on. as for a source try a company called alloy boltz.

I used studs on both sides of the motor. The end of each stud was broched for an allen wrench. This allowed me to install the studs deeper into the head so I could install the intake manifold and then raise the stud back to a height where I could get a nut and washer on it. Sorry, I don't remember where I purchased the stainless steel bolt kit for my LT-1 though. You can try seaching on Google, as I think that is where I found my kit.
