Re: intake oil leak..

really? i remmeber one of the places i went to was wanting 4 hours labor and after they looked at it wanted to charge even more... and then finally decided they wouldnt do it at all *sigh* ... anyone have a write up or step-by-step on doing this? ild hate to get in there and screw something up.. if nothing else does anybody have which stagger pattern and how many lbs/ft to torque each bolt to? thisll be my first time tearing into any part of an engine.. (other than taking teh head off a jeep, and the intake was already off of it =/ ...)

Iv gotten rid of anything extra under the hood so all thats involved is undoing a few vacuum lines unbolt the intake and pull it off. then just clean off the old gasket seal but a nice bead of rtv on set the intake back down and torque the bolts per the correct specs in the correct order and let the rtv set up good before you start the car.
