Intake manifold gaskets, put on dry or a spray on sealant?

On the intake manifold gaskets, the metal ones that come in the fel pro set, do you suggest that I put them on dry or use a spray on sealant? If a spray on sealant, which kind, the regular or copper spray.

I'd imagine n/a you will be fine with no sealant except the front and back of course. I spread a thin layer of copper rtv from a tube on my gasket just because there's no reason not to. Works good so far.

do that dremel a line into the block and into the intake to match. silicone up and it makes a "wall."

I got the intake off, and I noticed that the factory gaskets arent metal, would the metal ones work better, or should I get some GM factory ones? I figure that the aluminum ones would be a better choice cause the intake and heads and gaskets would all be the same material, but I could be wrong, or does it matter much either way? Thanks guys.

I'm guessing Felpro knows what they're doing. Mine were plastic victor gaskets but that's all I could find at NAPA and I needed them right away. I would have gone felpro if I had the time to order.

Did you notice 2 white plastic tabs in the gasket? I assume those stay in? Or do you take them out, and what are they for? I am about to put mine on tonight, and couldn't figure out what the plastic things were.

BTW, I am putting them on dry. You shouldn't need any extra, except for the back and front like was already said.

I used the Felpro gaskets. Put them on dry, leaving the white, plastic locator pins on. I used Ultra Copper on the end rails. I'm sure a spray on copper sealant would not hurt anything, just don't know that it is necessary.
