Oil leak, or air leak?
The common problem with typical LT1 intake manifold oil leak can be detected by wiping the back of the head/top of the block with a paper towel. If its leaking oil, you will find a lot of black gunk and oil on the paper towel.
If you are looking for air leaks at the gaskets, there are several things you can spray on the suspected areas, listening for a change in engine operation.
