Re: Intake Elbow

Thanks for the replys. I could actually see the ripples in the exterrior of the elbow when looking at the pics on ebay, and wondered if the inside was full of them too. I'm trying to decide if that's a big deal to me or not, as my engine bay's not that nice (clean but not show car clean) so the polished vortech would kinda look outa place... The car's just gonna have bolt-ons till the end of the summer, then maybe a CC305 or LE1 package or something... Got plenty of time to decide as I save a little money. Also, do y'all think that mono blade throttle body would make that much of a difference if I did a LE1 package and maybe had him port the intake too?? Got the 52mm already and he says that'll give 370-390 rwhp (if I remember right) on his website...

Re: Intake Elbow

LOL!

I just bought the same exact elbow for $55.00 shipped from a member of this board. :blah: I guess I should've done some research first...

Especially since it did not come with anything else than just the elbow and the rubber grommet for the IAT sensor. :blah:

Thanks for the great deal!!!

Re: Intake Elbow

Does anyone know the size of the outlet on that intake piece? I may use this for my relocation of the MAF on a procharger set up.

If you mean the inlet, it will be the same size as a stock MAF. The outlet will be the same size as the throttle body inlet.

Re: Intake Elbow

I actually bought that one. It looks exactly like trickflow but the rubber connector things do not fit! I threw them in the oven for a few minutes and and managed to get them to fit, then the shrunk cutting my intake done to half the size.
