Man the front left intake manifold bolt wont go in all the way because its not lined up right but every other bolt is lined up perfect.. WEhen i tighten it..it hits the intake towards the front of the hole instead of just going straight down...The head doesnt look stripped or anything

 

If yout at a point where you can take it off the car, just pull it off and drill the hole out one size. Or slightly angle it.

I had a similar problem with my intake, between the powder coating, milled block and heads I couldn't get half of the bolts to go in. They were about a mm or less off from being aligned.

I drilled the holes out slightly and it tightend right down. If you just crank the bolt down, you are going to push aluminum threads down into the lifter valley.

That's just what I did.

 

Loosen all bolts, so the intake can move. Then start all bolts before tightening any of them all the way down.

You shouldn't need a solution as posted above unless you have had milling done.

 

When i had my heads decked .010, i had the same problem. Do what shoebox said first and if that don't get it, make the holes a little bigger and you should be fine.

 

yeah unfortunetly heads have been milled and the deck height on motor is probably shorter too since its a 383 that was built so I think IM gonna hav to drill it out a bit...Plus it let's you start the bolt its at about half way down that it starts hitting the manifold
