I always just dipped my finger in a lil clean engine oil and put a tiny bit on each o-ring.

wd40 has almost no actual useful uses in the garage, lubricant being about the least useful it can be.

Use a good brand silicone lubricant on the injector O-rings. Also, on the fuel line O-ring seals.

Do NOT use any product containing silcone on the air or fuel system of your car. Silicone destroys the O2 sensors. Doesn't take much to screw them up.

wd40 will fry out any rubber seal the same goes for liquid wrench, pb blaster ect. just go get a small tube of the injector grease or some kind of non sisicone white grease and you should be fine.

Good ol motor oil has always worked for me for many years of abuse and extreme heat and cold, injectors still pop out fine in the end and stay sealed.

Here's what I do... simple and cost no money... yo uwont even have to go furthen than a foot.

Step 1. Remove oil cap from Valve cover
Step 2. Stick finger in valve cover hole
Step 3. Apply oil to sealant ring on injectors
Step 4. Re-install injectors
Step 5. Re-install oil cap

An easy little jewel that will guide you through life... Keep the can of WD40 at least 20 feet away from your car.
