installing catback
well i just got my slp 2otl catback yesterday, and i decided to have a local mechanic shop put it on for me because, for one, i don't have a lift or anything to raise up my car, and two, i will be harvesting wheat for the next 2 or 3 weeks, so i won't have time to do it anytime soon. so, i'm gonna have them put it on in a couple of days.
i guess my question is should i tell them anything about how to put it on? i live in a small town, and i'm sure they've never worked on camaro exhaust.
another thing: on the inside of the muffler, there are some wires sticking into the middle of the muffler. i guess they're from the MIG welder they used to make it. should i pull these wires out of the muffler? will they cause abnormal sound from the exhaust?
thanks for the replies. i'm sorry this is so long

Yeah, its all pretty easy. They need to make one cut by the over axle pipe to bring it down. The rest should just unbolt if nothing's siezed on.
The intermediate pipe slips onto and clamps down on the end of the y-pipe, then the rest just bolts up. Just make sure everything looks right, because there is some positioning of the angle of the muffler, and tips and tailpipes. Its really easy.
