Installed Longtubes, Now I'm Slower
Installed Longtubes, Now I'm Slower
Significantly slower. I could tell on the first test drive that something wasn't happy. The engine shakes pretty bad at idle and has a very apparent hesitation. Now I have to try and sort things out. I did install new plugs and wires while doing the headers but I rechecked all the connections and they seemed good and tight. I also blocked off my egr gas feed but the egr itself is still on there and was wondering if the egr could be a culprit in this. How do you start to test for this sort of thing?

Have you verified that you don't have any exhaust leaks?

I have O2 extensions and definitely recommend them.
