Although you shouldn't need a tune to get it to idle .....I highly recomend pcmforless... Are you sure you didn't adjust the valves to tight, vacuum leak maybe, wires on correctly....check the obvious, then recheck....then when your done with that....recheck again!!!

i'll second valves or vacuum leak if it runs smooth once you rev it up. wires if it just plain runs crappy. the cam may have a rough idle without tuning, but it should idle.

Without a tune the hotcam should just run choppy at idle. First thing you should do is readjust your valves.

Yup, check to make sure the RR's aren't too tight like stated.

You can always tighten them back up after the car is running, with the valve covers off, if you are worried about them being too loose.
