installed h/c running terrible...
Re: installed h/c running terrible...
I would check the cam timing first with a degree wheel. The tuining could be a waste of time on the dyno with the cam all screwed up.
Believe me this is not just as easy as dot to dot. I degree in every motor I build and I've found ones I can't even degree in because the TC or something was screwed up. This is really a serious issue, like pluggin the wrong injector into the wrong cylinder.

We found the gremlin in my motor: My brother was going to adjust the rockers again today to see if they were still too tight. So he took off the valve covers to find out that one of my pushrods was missing. So he called me up and told me to which I reply: "WTF!?!?!" Turns out that I snapped a pushrod in two somehow. I'm guessing that it wasnt aligned properly, but am unsure. I'm going to get a new set of pushrods shipped overnight and see what happens. Hopefully it broke because we installed it wrong, although I can not see how that would have happened. Should have the new set installed wednesday afternoon, hopefully it will be up and running shortly after...

Dam you snapped that SOB then..... Not a common site there. I know we put some spring on them but wow.
Did you check to make sure that's the right length for the motor, it cant be far off but you gotta check still.
