Installed BBK 52mm TB. Question about elbow

Installed BBK 52mm TB. Question about elbow

I just installed a 52mm BBK TB and having trouble with my stock elbow. Can they fit on the 52mm TB or do I have to modify it somehow?

The stock elbow will fit with it. My stocker fits my BBK 58mm but its a lot tougher to get on than the stocker was. I think the BBK TB opening is just a little bigger.

ok. I will try oiling the lip tomorrow. just wanted to make sure before I go forcing it on.

If you have small to medium sized hands you can put your hand inside the elbow from the MAF side. Then use your hand to help push the elbow lip out and on to the TB.
