Installation Order/Advice

Im planning on doing a cam install over spring break. The car currently has a bad miss at all RPMs, i believe its the opti. I came to this conclustion because it had a hesitation problem last year, and i replaced the plugs, wires, and coil which seemed to clear it up. Would it be an alright idea to replace this while doing the cam install? I know people say you shouldnt do a mod if the car isnt running right, and it could complicate the problem.

While i have the front clip off, i plan on doing Headers, Cam, 1.6rrs, springs, timing chain, opti, coil and water pump.

Anyone forsee any problems doing this all at once?

i imagine i wont know the car when i drive it again
Hopefully it will be livened up a bit

I don't see a problem doing all of those things together. However if it is not the opti and it is a sensor or something it probably will be even worse than before with headers and a cam.

Would having a dealer read the codes tell me if it is a sensor? or verify the opti for that matter.

Yes, getting any codes stored would be more helpful than what you have now.

If it is the opti, then a cam and opti swap should go well together, since you've gotta rip all that stuff outta the way to do either one, might as well do them both at once.
