input shaft wont turn in pilot bushing

I am installing the clutch in my M6 car. I did the swap from a A4 to an M6 and installed the pilot bushing. I am using an old input shaft for an alignment tool. I installed the pilot bushing in the crank but when I put the input shaft in it it is too hard to turn. I greased it but the input shaft is very hard to turn. I do not think that it is right. Let me know What gives? I installed the bushing the correct way.

Is the old input shaft from a T56? Measure to see if they are any different.
