Inline fuel booster pump question

I have just purchased a MSD inline fuel pump to augment my in-tank system. I was surprised to find that the pump has no wires in the box (should have known by the lower price), so I have to make my own. Can someone detail the best way to wire up one of these inline pumps (what gauge wire, were to hook up, what about a relay or fuse?). I am not the best at electrical work when it involves cars, so I want to make sure I do this right the first time. Thanks, feel free to email me too

You need to run +12V power direct from the battery (include a fuse) to a relay in the back of the car. The fuel pump needs a very healthy power supply, to avoid voltage loss and the accompanying loss of fuel flow/pressure. Then pick up the pump side +12V power from the stock pump relay (from the connector on the forward part of the underbody that humps up over the rear axle) to provide the "signal" to the inline pump relay. That way, both pumps go on and off together, controlled by the PCM.

There is a good illustrated install procedure in the manual for the NOS 5176 dry kit that would help. Also shows how to tie into the stock fuel lines without cutting them. If you have a fax, I can send you a copy of the pages from there. Send me your fax # if you want it.
