injectors

I bought new injector seals and I noticed that there are some little plastic spacers or seals above the seals. I look like a little sleeve or something, 2 of them are broke and one of them has disappeared. What do these do and where can i get more of them?...............Thanks Mike

There are no "pintles" on a stock LT1 injector. They are ball and seat type injector. The Ford/SVO/FMS/Bosch injectors are a pintle-style injector, and have a plastic cap on the tip to protect the pintle.
