Keep in mind that a wet kit doesn't use the injectors for fueling, so you're set if your current injectors are getting the job done N/A.

Re: Injector sizing?

This should be discussed in an engine tech forum. Transferring, thanks.

Re: Injector sizing?

What is your A/F and injector duty cycle?
If they are both good then there is no benifit form going to a bigger injector other then the fact you will have to retune. I have seen
injector debates on both sides and have come to the opinion that as long as te duty cycle is ok and the A/F is where you want it leave it alone.

You should be fine with the 36 pounders. Dont want to run too rich.. My .02

Let me make sure I understand your question... you have a 396 that has run 10.6@128 on straight motor. That would indicate that you are making over 600HP. Not sure how you could do that on a 36# injector, unless you are driving them close to 100% duty cycle. In that case, the 42's would be of benefit, if only to get the DC down to a more reasonable level, and extend the life of the injectors.

You don't "run too rich" with larger injectors, if you enter ther correct flow rate and offsets in the PCM.
