Injector not firing HELP!!!!!!
Re: Injector not firing HELP!!!!!!
I've already done this.....I have continuity from the fuse to the injector its either in the computer or the engine harness itself not the body harness.
Re: Injector not firing HELP!!!!!!
Ok, so you have no power at any time at the injectors? Simple fix. Find where the power wires for those injectors terminate. Splice it into another circuit. Just pick one that doesn't overload it, replace with a slightly higher amp fuse and go. Just make sure that the circuit is hot in cranking and run position.
Did you check to see if you had power at any time(during cranking too)?

Re: Injector not firing HELP!!!!!!
you could also bypass the fuse block and run an inline fuse with both injector wires before the block and tie them into the large pink ignition wire
Re: Injector not firing HELP!!!!!!
Well...I'm gonna swap pcm's before i start dicing up the harness....the last time I had it scanned it gave me a DTC code ECT high voltage.....I'm not really sure how to fix that, but now i'm starting to think this problem is connected.I've also heard that wires can give me continuity if the meltef together with another wire close to it and still be screwed up in it's functions. I also heard that I'm really just no tgetting power to 2 injectors because of crossfiring or something...So how do I know which 2 to splice into

but as far as what wires to splice, the 4 pinks coming off each grouping of injectors all go into a single so 4 into 1 twice. Take that one and splice in an inline fuses find the other and do the same then splice the 2 into one wire and connect to the large pink wire coming off the fuse block used for ignition.
