Re: IMPORTANT: LT1 guys with Taylor wires
I had the exact same thing on my LT1, with the taylors there would be arcs going up each wire. It was most noticable at night with all lights off. I put on MSD Super Conductors and they do the same thing but not as noticable as when the taylors were on.
Re: IMPORTANT: LT1 guys with Taylor wires
Is it possible that this is because of the voltage of our ignitions?
There obviously isnt enough insulation in the wires to prevent sparks from getting out.

Re: IMPORTANT: LT1 guys with Taylor wires
I have a buddy that has a set of Taylor Spiro 8mm's that the wire is coming out of the boot! And they are new!
I've had mine for a couple years now, they seem to be fine. Probably wouldn't hurt for a change though.

Re: IMPORTANT: LT1 guys with Taylor wires
I have used taylors for over 3 years now. I always had a feeling bout the short boots but I havent seen any sparks ever.
I will look into it since I am having problems with my car right now....
