Sounds like High School to me. A guy I knew made like a 120RWHP with his 71 Mustang, got pissed saying the shop doesn't like classic cars even though they gave him a bottle of oil when he started leaking on their dyno, he goes to the track and runs a 10.4, saying my car could only do a 10.0 at best. Went the next week car runing real hot and clicked off 9.1@78.

i got beat by an eclipse once... had a 50 dollar bet on it too ( i would have bet more but it looked like it had a decent amout of mods and i was bone stock) and he beat me by about 4 cars... he said he had a few "regular mods"... he failed to mention however he was running 26 psi of turbo... and he had zex n20... so with all that and he only beat me by 4 cars... i felt good and i didn't pay cause he said his car was naturally asperated...
