ignition stuck

Angry ignition stuck

my key is stuck on the on position and i cant turn it back or start the car. i had to pry the ignitoin back to turn the car off. anyone ever have this proplem? what should i do?

The rods and sector that operate the ignition switch could be jammed or the switch, itself, could be broken. You should be able to disconnect the rod from the ignition switch, so you can see if the key and rods will then operate freely. If so, it's time for switch replacement. A guide for that can be found on my Tech Page.

ill try that. so you dont think it could be the actuall lock cylinder?

You won't know until you disconnect the rod from the switch. It's the easiest way to begin isolating the trouble, IMO.
