ignition coil

when replacing the inigtion coil is theres some kind of grease you put on? will it make a difference if its not on?

someone told me about it and wanted to see if it was true?

You're thinking of dielectric grease. It's made to prevent corrosion of the coil lead wire terminal on the coil. It won't hurt to not use it, but if you don't like corrosion, you should invest in some.

Put some silicone grease between of the ignition coil and the coil bracket. It's to aid in heat transfer to cool the ignition coil module.
