No need to do anything.... I would use stock coil also, good wires all you need my friend save the bucks... If you must I would use the money towards LTC box, or LS1 coils...

EDIT I see your going to be on the gas, dunno now....

I agree - you will gain nothing over the stock ignition.

For NA I would not bother with a box unless you are looking for a rev limiter in case of missed shifts.

For nitrous the Mallory 685 is nice, rev limiter, timing retard, window switch all in one package.

These are not 80s cars that benefit from aftermarket ignitions, the stock system works really well, I saw no gain when I put an Accel 300+ on my car, I left it on only for the rev limiter. I only tried it because I got it new in box for less than half price.

well i do plan on using nitrous thats the main reason why i wanted the box and for the 2 step rev limiter but other then that they really dont make that big a difference?

With nitrous the spark based rev limiter and window switch are VERY good ideas and reason to get an aftermarket box, but NA they don't do much.

For sure! But I'm a firm beliver that the box kills the opti yet I still have mine for the rev limiter... Could just go with a N20 window/rev limiter setup skip the high voltage to the opti..
