IGN and Guage Fuses Not Getting Power

95 Firebird... Died a couple of times on my cousin, then just wouldn't even attempt to crank. All fuses are good.

The pink wire that feeds both the ign fuse and gauge cluster fuse on the back of the interior fuse block is not getting power when in the run position. This wire is a thicker pink wire. The wires out of the ignition and guage cluster fuses are thin pink wires. No fuel pump prime, no cranking, no guage operation.

I ran a jump wire just to test. If I jump power to the these fuses and turn the key, the pump will prime, guages will react, car will crank (no start though).

Is the pink wire that feeds these fuses powered by the ignition switch? I am hoping this problem doesn't trace back to a neutral safety switch or some trans solenoid switch..., but it looks as though that is on the output side of the ign fuse (not the input side).

I have full voltage at battery, pcm, accessory post, etc. Does this sound like the ign switch is the culprit?

I appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Craig

Perfect. I should have known to go straight to your tech page. Since I don't own an F-body anymore, it has been a couple of years since I have had to get my hands dirty with one!!

Thanks for the info and your page is a gold mine of information.
