Idling problem

I have noticed the past 2 weeks since I have taken my car out of storage for the summer that when I start the car up that when in idle, the tach keeps jumping between 600 and 900 rpms. This only happens when I first start the car. Once I start driving and then stop to an idle, it doesn't do it anymore. Occaisionally it will sound like its going to stall out when its in idle, but rebounds back up.

Can anyone determine my problem?

Thanks
Decker

Does it do a quick jump..or does it do it for a minute or so...

I may have multiple diagnosis's for this if I know that..

Just from taking a really wild guess..is your fuel pump maybe clogged?

Wild guess...tired also..

it continues to do it untill you start driving. Once your giving the car a little gas it isn't a problem at all.

I wouldn't think there would be a problem with the fuel pump since I just got a new one last may. How would I know if it was clogged?
