Idle stays higher between shifts

For some reason, the car likes to jump idle for a bit when idling, then comes back down to normal operating rpm. But I've noticed it when shifting too. The rpm's will stay up higher between shifts. What does this mean? IAC dirty? What would be the best way to clean it? I was just going to take off the CAI and spray TB cleaner into the bores with the engine running.

If the IAC was the problem, which is likely, it's not a dirt issue. It's more likely sticking. If the seat at the pintle had debris in it, it would never seat. But yours does. Just replace it.
