almost every time i race my car after about reaching 120mph i shut it off and pull it the clutch then the car idles at 2K rpms and when i start to slow down and get to a light and reach 0 mph then the idle goes down slightly to 1,500 rpms. i just got a brand new distributor put it because that broke and now this problem still exsists, this problem has been exsisting for almost a year now and its very annoying. i think i need a new ignition module and coil. but maybe you guys know what it is, please help out.

 

Could there be a possible Vacum leak somewhere that under that speed and once you stop It fixes itself.????

doesnt really fix its self, it'll stay at 1,500rpm when my normal rpm is 900. and why doesnt it go down just because i slow down because i have the clutch in the whole time while it goes from 2K rpms to 1,500rpm.
