Idle air control motor

I was thinking about cleaning this out and maybe the throttle body at the same time if it needs it... but I was wondering if I would really even benefit from doing it I mean it doesnt idle dead smooth but I wouldnt say it has an idling problem either. My car has 90k miles on it by the way.

Re: Idle air control motor

There could be some carbon buildup around the valve and in the idle passage. I've seen some improvement in idle quality after cleaning these part, it's an easy job anyway.
