We have a winner!!! chevyowner02 the numers in the pic he sent me match yours perfect. Since you know you have the Hotcam and he is claiming he has a hotcam, I'm sure it is since the numbers match up.

its really funny that this question came up. i am in the process of installing a hotcam in my car, and i have the same question. i bought mine off of a board member, and when comparing the hotcam and the stock cam side by side, there doesnt seem to be too much different. would you be able to tell the difference in the cams by just eyeing them up?

I'm by no means a cam expert but I doubt you could by just "eyeballing" them. Lift on a stock cam is around .470 and the hotcam is .525. That is .055 of an inch or 1/2 of a tenth of an inch. Doubt you could see that with your naked eye.
